Things I learned this past year

1 – God is amazing. And the coolest part is that I haven’t even scratched the service. He has so many more awesome things up His sleeve.

2 – I love my husband more now than I did when we first started dating.

3 – Isaac is the coolest kid ever. Really.

4 – I have done some pretty awesome things and been some pretty amazing places in my life, but being a mom is my greatest adventure. And after a LOOOOTTTTT of prayer, I get to do it again this year. 

5 – I actually do like broccoli.

6 – Gina is right….double fiber bread ROCKS!!!!!!

7 – Getting up at 4:45 am to workout really is a good thing.

8 – God always comes through for me.

9 – Joe is a great dad.

10 – Isaac loves to tell EVERYONE that he “just tooted”.

Great News!! (for all you non-facebookers anyway)

Joe and I are expecting another baby!!! We have been praying hard for God to bless us with another awesome kid, and of course, He answered. I am so excited to have another baby……and for Isaac to have a little brother or sister.

Anyway, thanks to those of you who have been praying for us.

30 is the new 20……right?

Okay so it’s been a while since I have posted anything……what better way to get back into it than to tell the world I’m now 30!!!

Here are a few things that made my birthday memorable:
1 – Jarrod and Tiffany singing “Happy Birthday” to me at church…..you guys should go on tour.
2 – Isaac singing happy birthday to me. (that was awesome)
3 – Isaac decorated my cake………
4 – Joe actually remembered my birthday this year!!! He’s improving.

5 – My friends Terri, Kelly and Jennifer took me out for Mexican food!! I miss you guys!!! You’re the bestest!
6 – Isaac told me my belly was “really soft”.

Daaaannnngggg!! Guess I can’t eat like I use too…..back to protein and salads for me.

Isn’t it sad………

that I actually got excited when it only cost me $48.00 to fill up my gas tank……….makes me miss college when I could fill up my Honda for $8.00 and it would last 2 weeks………Oh the good old days!

Why Isaac shouldn’t go with Mommy to work…….

1 – He’s two

2 – He thinks toys in other kids rooms belong to him since he found them.

3 – He likes to explore (this makes looking at a house a little more difficult when you are chasing him around praying he doesn’t destroy something)

4 – He’s two……..did I say that one already?

5 – He’s not potty trained yet………..yeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhh. Nothing beats your son hiding in a closet, going #2 and telling everyone he’s going #2 while you are trying to show a home to a prospective buyer. Good thing this person was a close friend………

Mom: “Isaac smile at the camera”
Isaac: “no”

Isaac: “that’s not a pumpkin”

Isaac: “Whoa…….”
